How the website works

Join and share

Create your free profile using email sign-up, or sign in if you already have an account. Open Profile to edit your name, username, bio and picture. Use its Create post tab to share an update, question or useful resource.

Choose who can see a post

Posts are visible to signed-in Community members by default. If you select “Make this post public on Home,” anyone can see the post, your displayed name, current profile picture and any attached photo. Your current picture stays public while any of your posts is public, and changing it updates those posts.

Replies are members-only, including replies to public posts. Your journal and observation photos stay private unless you choose to share them; attaching a photo to a post shares that photo with the post’s audience.

Participation is voluntary

This community follows a gift-economy approach: freely sharing knowledge, skills and resources without requiring something in return. You do not need to buy anything or offer an exchange to join, learn or participate.

For a practical example, read Borrowing and sharing hand tools, with a simple checklist for clear, voluntary arrangements.

Warner Robins Community Center by Seth The Evil

I’m planning free, open access to practical resources in Warner Robins, Georgia. A facility, opening date and public access arrangements have not been established. You can read the community-center plans as that work develops.
