GROWING GUIDE

Keep a garden record

Write down what you observe, what you do, and what you want to understand next.

Guidance reviewed

UGA Extension recommends recording each vegetable variety, its seed source and lot number when available, planting and harvest dates, and how the crop performed. These records can help you plan a later garden.

A blank entry to copy

This website’s suggested template adds space for your own observations and questions. It is a writing template, not a saved garden-tracking form. Copy it into your own notebook or notes app and leave unknown details blank.

Return to your observations

When you check the plant again, add a new dated entry. Describe the change and any action you took. Notes can help you decide what to investigate next; they do not establish the cause of a problem or guarantee a harvest.

Sharing is voluntary. Your notes can stay in your notebook or private journal. If you choose to share a useful observation, use Create post in Profile and review the post’s visibility before publishing. No purchase or exchange is needed.
